The Larimer Times Newsletter

With the onset of COVID-19, the Larimer Seniors were on lockdown. To keep the group connected, artist John Peña began interviewing the seniors over the phone and then created a series of creative newsletters that focused on their daily lives during the pandemic. These print and digital newsletters, called “The Larimer Times,” were originally intended to keep seniors connected with each other in the absence of our monthly luncheon, but quickly gained a local and national audience, and Peña began mailing printed newsletters to a wider audience.
